Inter manager Antonio Conte will not give the green light for Lautaro Martinez to be sold until he has guarantees over a replacement for him according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Inter have been clear to Barcelona that Lautaro is not for sale and that if they want him they either pay his €111 million release clause, which expires on July 7, or they make an offer consisting of a cash sum of €80-90 million plus defender Junior Firpo.

For the time being, Barcelona have failed to come close to Inter’s demands with the offers they have made, as per various reports in the media.

It continues to remain to be seen whether the La Liga giants will meet Inter’s demands for the highly rated 22-year-old Argentine national team striker.

This season Lautaro, who has a contract with Inter until 2023, has made 31 appearances across all competitions to date. In his time on the field, he has scored 16 goals and provided four assists.
