Alvaro Morata and Atletico Madrid do not wish to part ways with one another in the upcoming transfer window according to a report from the online edition of Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo.
The 27-year-old Spaniard is currently on loan at Los Rojiblancos, who are expected to sign him outright from Chelsea for a sum of €55 million.
Inter have developed a keen interest in signing the former Spanish national team striker and even though Morata does not want to leave Atleti, the Nerazzurri club will persist in their pursuit of him.
The report goes on to explain that Inter would be prepared to offer Matias Vecino as part of a deal for Morata and Vecino is a player who Atleti manager Diego Simeone very much likes.
Vecino is valued at €25 million and the report concludes that Inter would need to add at least €30 million in cash on top to complete a deal, which looks to be very complicated for the moment.
