Legendary former Inter player Evaristo Beccalossi believes that the Coppa Italia semi final tie between Inter and Napoli is far from over.

The two clubs are set to face off later on today at the Stadio San Paolo in the second leg of their tie, the first leg of which Napoli won 1-0 at San Siro back in February prior to football being brought to a standstill due to the Coronavirus crisis.

“Napoli have an advantage from the first leg, but the game is still very open and therefore no one knows what will happen. Due to the characteristics of the two teams, in my opinion there will be many goals,”Beccalossi explained whilst present in the studios of Italian broadcaster Sport Italia, yesterday.

Beccalossi joined Inter in 1978 from Brescia and spent the next six years of his career on the clubs books before departing for Sampdoria.

During his time with the club, the former Italian youth national team player made a total of 215 appearances across all competitions, in which he scored 37 goals.

Becalossi won a total of two trophies during his time on the Nerazzurri’s books. He won the Serie A title in his second campaign with the club and also won the Coppa Italia.
