The report details how the Gunners are hoping to offer the 30-year-old Gabonese striker a new contract in order to keep him in North London for the foreseeable future. The former Borussia Dortmund striker’s current contract expires at the end of next season and Inter are one of the many clubs interested in making a move for him in the summer.

The Gunners are hoping to have enough funds available to offer the player a super-contract in order to drive away the European competition. Inter may have to look elsewhere for the replacement for Lautaro Martinez, who seems destined to join Barcelona.
