Barcelona may be forced to keep 26-year-old Portuguese right back Nelson Semedo, despite trying to offload him to Inter, Manchester City and Juventus, according to a report from Spanish media outlet Marca earlier today.

The report details how the Blaugrana have been trying to sell Semedo after the player failed to reach a contract renewal agreement with the Catalan club. Barcelona had been talking to the Nerazzurri, the Bianconeri and the Citizens, trying to find a new home for the 26-year-old.

Juventus decided not to pay the amount requested by the Blaugrana, the report continues, with Manchester City also never really being interested in the player. Barcelona attempted to include Semedo in the deal for 22-year-old Argentine striker Lautaro Martinez but Inter had no interest as the Blaugrana value the player at €41 million, a figure far too high for the Nerazzurri to agree with. It seems now that Semedo will stay in Catalonia for the time being.
