Fiorentina Planning To Offer Inter & Juventus Target Gaetano Castrovilli A New Contract

Fiorentina have no interest in selling Inter linked midfielder Gaetano Castrovilli and are considering offering him a new contract, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper la Repubblica.

The report details how the 23-year-old Italian midfielder, who is contracted to the Florence based club until 2024 after signing a new deal with the side before Christmas, has impressed this season playing for the Viola, being one of the club’s stars alongside Federico Chiesa.

Castrovilli has attracted the interest of both Inter and Juventus, with both clubs appreciating the Italian’s qualities and considering making a summer move for him.

Fiorentina president Rocco Commisso has no plans to lose Castrovilli in the summer, the report continues, and would be prepared to extend his current contract by an extra year, to 2025, as well as increasing his salary a little. The Florence based club want to send a clear signal to any interested clubs that he is not for sale.
