Arsenal striker and Inter target Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang discussed his future, a possible departure from the Gunners and his contract situation in an interview with French media outlet Telefoot earlier today.

“I haven’t received an offer recently, but obviously there have been discussions with the club for some months now and they know very well why nothing has happened so far. It is they who hold the keys and need to do their job.”

The 30-year-old discussed how this summer will be a turning point in his career and how he hasn’t made a decision regarding his future yet.

“We’ll see how things go next. It’s a turning point in my career and I’ll be very honest with everyone, it will obviously be a very difficult decision to make because I haven’t decided yet. It is perhaps the most important decision of my career. To be clear, nothing has been decided.”

Inter have been linked with the 30-year-old Aubameyang for some time now, as the Nerazzurri are looking for a replacement for the 22-year-old Lautaro Martinez, who is likely to be sold to Barcelona in the upcoming summer transfer window. The Blaugrana are incredibly keen to sign the Argentine forward, believing that he would be the perfect replacement for the aging Luis Suarez.

The Nerazzurri haven’t found the perfect replacement for Lautaro yet, with Aubameyang being one of many players being considered by the Milanese club. Other options include Timo Werner and Edinson Cavani, but so far no player is particularly close to the club.
