Inter manager Antonio Conte will try talk to Lautaro Martinez during the week in a bid to help him get back to his best according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere della Sera.

Since links over a potential move to Barcelona surfaced in the media, there has been a visible decline in the 22-year-old’s performances and his poor run of form is leaving him at risk of losing his place in the Inter starting line-up.

As things stand, Inter and Barcelona have no agreement over the player but many reports have stated that Lautaro has already reached an agreement in principle with Barcelona over a five year contract with an annual salary of €10 million.

Inter have made it clear that they want his €111 million release clause paid or €80-90 million plus at least one player for the Argentine national team forward.

This season Lautaro has made 32 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 16 goals and provided four assists for his teammates.
