Italian Media Claims Inter Reignite Interest In Signing AS Roma Striker Edin Dzeko

Inter have reignited their past interest in signing Roma striker Edin Dzeko according to a report from Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.

Inter showed a keen interest in Dzeko this past Summer but the Bosnian grew tired of waiting around for Inter and opted to sign a new contract with the Giallorossi club.

Despite that new contract, the report explains that the former Manchester City player could depart the Italian capital city club in the coming months and he could depart for Inter.

Inter have struggled in their pursuit of Edinson Cavani who is demanding €10 million a year and are back in for Dzeko who wants €7.5 million a year instead, which is more affordable for them.

Inter are currently paying €5 million of Alexis Sanchez’s €12 million annual wages during his loan and Dzeko could well be brought in as a replacement for the Chilean national team attacker.

Last Summer Roma wanted in the region of €20 million for Dzeko and the report explains that Inter would not have to pay as much for him if they go in for him now.
