Inter and AC Milan are in the process of finalising the preparations required to meet protocol for their upcoming home games to be played behind closed doors at San Siro according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere della Sera.

The protocol allows for a maximum of 300 people to be present in the stadium but due to San Siro having 156 turnstiles and 50 emergency exits, there is a chance that more people could be allowed into the stadium.

The players will be tested by club doctors and will therefore not be required to undergo testing upon their arrival at the stadium, like everyone else will have to.

San Siro has been entirely sanitised and has been divided into three main areas, which are the pitch, the changing rooms and entrance routes for the teams. San Siro will be sanitised again before the matches and will also be sanitised afterwards.

The report goes on to add that Inter and AC Milan will be able to use each others changing rooms in addition to their own when playing at home to comply with social distancing rules.

It also states that rather than all players being sat on the bench, they will be spread out across the bench and in seats at the side of the benches which are typically occupied by fans.
