Inter have identified Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus as a potential replacement for Lautaro Martinez according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, which was aired a short time ago.

Lautaro has been heavily linked with a potential switch to La Liga giants Barcelona ahead of the upcoming transfer window and Inter have been looking around for a replacement in case he goes on to leave the club.

Brazilian national team forward Gabriel Jesus is the latest name to be considered by the Nerazzurri club and Inter’s chances of signing him could increase should Manchester City’s exclusion from the Champions League for the next two seasons stand.

The 23-year-old joined Manchester City in the Summer of 2017 from Campeonato Brasileiro Série A side Palmeiras and has a contract with the reigning Premier League champions until 2023.

This season Gabriel Jesus has made 39 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 18 goals and provided nine assists for his teammates.
