Inter are pondering whether to bring in Juan Musso to be Samir Handanovic’s deputy and eventual successor according to a report from Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.

The Argentine shot-stopper has long been linked with a move to Inter and is seemingly very keen on completing a move to the Nerazzurri.

The report explains that reaching an agreement over personal terms with Musso should not prove difficult nor should reaching an agreement with his current employers, Udinese.

However, Inter management are unsure whether they should spend the money required to bring Musso to the club elsewhere and utilise Ionut Andrei Radu as Handanovic’s back-up instead, which is a far more cost effective option given Radu is already at the club.

This season 26-year-old Musso, who has a contract with Udinese until the end of the 2022/23 season, has made 27 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has recorded a total of nine assists.
