Inter will face Getafe in a one off fixture in the Europa League on either August 5 or 6, the club have confirmed via an official statement posted on the club website.

The two clubs were originally due to face off against one another back in March but the global Coronavirus crisis led to the matches being postponed.

European football’s governing body UEFA’s executive committee met earlier today to decided on the revised schedule for both the remainder of the Europa League as well as the Champions League.

The venue of Inter’s match against Getafe is yet to be determined but the match will take place in Germany with the remainder of the tournament to be carried out across four cities, Cologne, Duisburg, Düsseldorf and Gelsenkirchen.

The quarter finals – which will also just be a single match – will be played over August 10 and 11, the semi finals – which will again just be a single match – will be played on August 16 and 17 and the final will follow on August 21.

Inter also confirm that the remaining last 16 matches will either kick off at 18:55 CET or 21:00 CET and all matches after the last 16 will kick off at 21:00 CET.
