The Europa League is set to become Inter’s top priority according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, which was aired a short time ago.
In the space of 11 days Inter have seen themselves crash out of the Coppa Italia at the semi final stage and as good as completely lose any chance at winning the Serie A title this term.
As a result of this, the Nerazzurri could well seriously focus in on winning the Europa League and Inter manager Antonio Conte wants to focus on it too in a bid to revive Inter’s season.
The report from Sport Mediaset goes on to highlight that Conte has a far from good record in European competition and his best performance in the Europa League to date was taking Juventus to the semi finals, where they were eliminated by Benfica back in 2014.
The remainder of the 2019/20 Europa League is due to take place in Germany and Inter will face Getafe in a one off tie in the last 16 at the beginning of August.
