Arturo Vidal arriving could spell the end for Radja Nainggolan at Inter according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere della Sera.

Inter have shown an interest in signing Vidal from Barcelona for some time now due to Inter manager Antonio Conte wanting reunited with him and that interest remains ahead of the upcoming transfer window.

Should Vidal go on to join Inter, it would end any possibility of Nainggolan being reinstated at Inter a year on from being judged as out of the club’s project.

Nainggolan was judged to be out of the project alongside Mauro Icardi and Ivan Perisic and was subsequently loaned to Cagliari for the season.

Reports in the media as of late have suggested there is a possibility, even if only a slim one, that he could be reintegrated into the club’s project.

If Vidal does arrive, it remains to be seen what Inter would do with Nainggolan. Some reports have suggested that they could use the Belgian as a counterpart in a deal for someone else.
