Three Inter players whose contracts were due to expire at the end of this month have extended their deals to last until the end of the season, according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sports Italia this afternoon.

The report details how 35-year-old Spanish midfielder Borja Valero, 34-year-old Italian goalkeeper Daniele Padelli and 37-year-old shot stopper Tommaso Berni will all sign short term extensions that will renew their contracts until the end of August, allowing them to finish the season with the Milanese club.

Only one of the three players, Padelli, is expected to stay on with the squad next season, whilst the other two will be available to join other clubs on a free transfer.

Valero has featured semi-regularly for Inter this season under coach Antonio Conte, the report continues, having made 17 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 946 minutes. In that time, he has scored three goals, including one against his former club Fiorentina.
