Ezequiel Schelotto has revealed that the conversation he had with former Inter president and owner Massimo Moratti after scoring in the Milan derby for Inter is among his greatest memories.

The current Brighton & Hove Albion full back was on Inter’s books between January 2013 and the Summer of 2015 and in one of his first few appearances for the club he scored an equaliser to secure Inter a draw in the Milan derby, which proved to be one of very few high points during his time with the club.

Schelotto left Inter after he and the club agreed to mutually terminate his contract and he moved on to Portuguese giants Sporting CP and after two years there he joined his current employers.

During his spell with Inter, the Argentine made just 13 appearances across all competitions and failed to make any goal contributions other than the one mentioned above.

“I have played everywhere, from north to south, and from every club I keep something special. From the double promotion with Cesena to the first goal in Serie A for Catania and the incredible salvation achieved with Atalanta to Moratti’s words after scoring in the Milan derby, which I will never forget,” he remarked in an interview with Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport, which appeared in today’s print edition.
