Real Madrid owned right back Achraf Hakimi is incredibly close to signing for Inter, with only a few details still remaining, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Corriere della Sera.

The report details how the 21-year-old Moroccan full back has impressed this season whilst on loan in the Bundesliga with Borussia Dortmund. Not only has he attracted the attention of Inter, but also German champions Bayern Munich and Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City. The Nerazzurri, however, managed to beat out the two interest parties.

Hakimi has chosen to join Inter as he wants to be a part of coach Antonio Conte’s project, the report continues. The player will be given a five-year contract worth €5 million net per season plus add-ons, with the deal set to cost the Nerazzurri around €40-45 million. The goal is to fully finalise the deal by the end of June, even if the player won’t be able to be registered until the start of September.
