Inter are close to signing top of their top transfer targets, according to a report from English newspaper the Guardian earlier today.
The report details how the Nerazzurri are close to signing Real Madrid right back Achraf Hakimi in a deal worth €40 million plus add-ons. The player himself has accepted a five-year contract with Inter worth €5 million net per season, making him one of the highest paid players in the squad.
Hakimi has impressed in his last two seasons on loan with Borussia Dortmund, the report continues, and has attracted the attention of many top clubs around Europe, like Manchester City and Bayern Munich, who were both keen to sign the 21-year-old.
Inter are also close to securing a deal for Brescia starlet Sandro Tonali, the report continues, in a deal worth around €35 million. The 20-year-old Italian has been one of Inter’s top targets for many months now, with Juventus also interested in him.
