Today is a crucial day when it comes to understanding whether or not Marcelo Brozovic will be available to Inter manager Antonio Conte for tomorrow night’s match with Brescia according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
The Croatian national team midfielder has missed all of Inter’s past three matches as a result of a calf problem and yesterday he continued to train separately to the rest of his teammates and followed a personalised training schedule.
Brozovic’s return would come as a big boost for Inter, especially given Christian Eriksen’s performance levels have dropped in the past two matches, perhaps due to being tired due to playing so many games in such a short space of time.
The 27-year-old former Dinamo Zagreb player has made 33 appearance across all competitions to date. In his time on the park, he has scored three goals and provided five assists for his teammates.
