Following his goal against Brescia, Inter defender Danilo D’Ambrosio is only the second defender to have scored at least two goals in each of the past five Serie A seasons sports data and analytics company Opta have highlighted.
The Italian, who is natrually a full back although played at centre back against Brescia, scored Inter’s third goal on the brink of half time on Wednesday night. Inter went on to win the match 6-0.
The only other player to have achieved this feat is former Inter defender and current Juventus player Leonardo Bonucci.
