Bayern Munich defender David Alaba has admitted that he is currently not thinking about his future but admits that he will soon have to make a decision.
The Austrian national team player’s contract with Bayern Munich is set to expire at the end of next season and reports in the media have suggested that Bayern Munich are unwilling to meet Alaba’s salary demands which exceed their offer of €15 million a year.
“I don’t worry about it at the moment. In recent weeks, the focus has been on the field and nothing will change in the next few weeks. How long will it take to make a decision? I don’t know but I’ll have to make one sooner or later,” Alaba explained in an interview with German news outlet Kicker.
Inter are reportedly keeping tabs on Alaba’s situation as they look to reinforce the left hand side of their defence whilst it has been reported in the media lately that the player likes the idea of a move to Spain after spending nearly his entire career in Germany.
This season he has made 37 appearances across all competitions to date. In his time on the park, which totals just over 3200 minutes, he has scored one goal and provided two assists.
