Inter coach Antonio Conte dreams of being reunited with Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere della Sera.
On top of wanting Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali and Barcelona’s Arturo Vidal, Inter manager Antonio Conte would also like a high level player such as Pogba.
The French national team midfielder is a dream for Inter but there are two major obstacles in the way of Inter signing him.
The first obstacle is his massive annual salary and the second is his bond with Juventus, where he played under Conte prior to his move to Manchester United. Despite these obstacles, Conte wants a player like him as he is physically strong and capable of contributing goals.
The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to explain that former Inter youth player Nicolo Zaniolo, who is now at Roma, is being monitored as is Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, but the Serbian’s price remains too high.
