Inter manager Antonio Conte would like Roma midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo brought back to the club according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sera.

Zaniolo joined Inter in 2017 from Virtus Entella and had a stellar season for Inter’s Primavera before being included in the deal that saw Inter sign Radja Nainggolan from Roma in 2018.

Since his arrival in the Italian capital, Zaniolo has blossomed and is now widely regarded as one of the best young Italian players out there at the moment.

As part of the deal that sent Zaniolo to Roma, Inter received a 20% sell on clause so in essence Inter will be able to get a discount on the newly turned 21-year-old.

The report explains that Conte would also like one of Emerson Palmieri and Marcos Alonso signed for left wing-back and the report concludes by adding that Inter and Conte continuing with one another will depend on the investment made in the transfer window.
