Inter may look to sign Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard, with city rivals AC Milan also interested in the Englishman, according to a report from English tabloid the Sun earlier today.
The report details how the Nerazzurri are currently in talks with the Red Devils regarding Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez, as the Milanese club would like to keep the former Arsenal star for both the remaining games of the season and for next season as well.
Inter CEO Beppe Marotta is also now seriously considering signing the 27-year-old Lingard as well, the report continues.
According to the report, the Englishman, whose contract expires with the Red Devils at the end of next season, is no longer wanted by coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The English club would be happy to sell him in order to fund a deal for Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho. Rivals AC Milan are also interested in the Englishman.
Lingard has made 37 appearances across all competitions so far this season, scoring and assisting twice.
