Three current Serie A sides and one soon to be a Serie A side have all sparked an interest in signing Pescara’s Gabriele Zappa according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.
Zappa has impressed this term at the Delfini and this has led to Serie A trio Parma, Hellas Verona and Sampdoria sparking an interest in signing him.
Serie B champions Benevento have also shown an interest in signing Zappa as they look to bolster their team ahead of their return to the Italian top flight next term.
The report from the Turin based news outlet points out that Inter have an option to buy Zappa back, an option they secured when they sold him to Pescara back in January 2019.
This season Italian youth national team full back Zappa has made 21 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored five goals and provided one assist.
