Inter are working hard to sign Brescia starlet Sandro Tonali but are remaining patient, rather than trying to rush through a deal, according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sports Italia last night.

The report details how the Milanese club have identified the 20-year-old Italian midfielder, who impressed in his debut season in Serie A with Brescia, as a priority and have been in constant contact with his entourage, to try and reach an agreement with his club.

The next step for Inter will be to reach an agreement with Massimo Cellino’s club, but the Nerazzurri are in no hurry to complete the deal, not wanting to rush the fine details.

Tonali, who is contracted to Brescia until 2022, has made 34 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 2928 minutes.

In that time, he has scored once and provided seven assists, impressing with his ball control and tenacity, with many comparing the player to former AC Milan stars Gennaro Gattuso and Andrea Pirlo.
