Signing on loan Alexis Sanchez permanently is a priority for Inter according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Il Giornale.

The Chilean national team player, who is on loan at Inter until August 5, has been Inter’s star performer since the season got back underway last month and Inter want to keep a hold of him.

Manchester United want €20 million for the former Barcelona and Arsenal player and do not want to grant any discounts on that figure.

The report goes on to highlight that Sanchez has a monstrous annual salary of €12 milllion a year until the end of the 2021/22 season and reports elsewhere in the media have suggested that Inter could try and take advantage of the Italian tax laws by spreading his wages over a three year deal.

This term Sanchez has made 27 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored four goals and provided his teammates with 10 assists.
