Inter may choose to replace coach Antonio Conte if they decide not to make changes that fit his vision, according to Sky Sports Italia journalist Matteo Barzaghi, published moments ago.
The report details how the 51-year-old Italian coach is unhappy that the club didn’t protect him or his squad from the media this season, as well as a lack of fight in important issues like their schedule issues.
The former Chelsea and Juventus coach also has different views when it comes to squad building, wanting a more experienced squad than what the Nerazzurri prefer.
“Either something will change at Inter and tensions calm or the Nerazzurri may have to think about another coach,” the report continues, “with former Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri an option in pole position.”
The club are waiting to see what will happen in the Europa League, with the first test against Spanish side Getafe on Wednesday. Conte also wants a direct line of contact with president Steven Zhang.
