Inter have sped up in their pursuit of Tanguy Ndombele and are getting close to reaching an agreement with Tottenham Hotspur over him according to a report from French broadcaster Telefoot journalist Julien Maynard.

Whilst Inter are closing in on agreeing a deal with the Premier League side over the Frenchman, they still need to agree terms with the former Lyon player.

Maynard reports that Inter are also not the only club to have an interest in signing Ndombele, who is in talks with two other European clubs, although he does not name who either club are. As things stand, Ndombele has currently not made any decisions.

Maynard also states that Inter are evaluating the possibility of including a player into the deal with Spurs. Reports elsewhere in the media, namely the Italian media, have suggested that Milan Skriniar or Marcelo Brozovic could be used as a counterpart by the Nerazzurri club.

Posting to social media platform Twitter, Maynard reported: “Inter Milan are accelerating when it comes to Tanguy Ndombele. The Italian club are close to reaching an agreement with Tottenham on the transfer amount. They need to convince the player who is also in contact with two other European teams, he has not yet made any decisions.”

In a follow up tweet he added: “Inter Milan are considering including a player in the deal.”
