Inter manager Antonio Conte wants to return to former employers and Inter’s arch rivals Juventus according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper La Repubblica.

Prior to Max Allegri’s departure last Summer and Conte’s arrival at Inter, the report claims that Conte done everything to try and secure himself a return to the Bianconeri club, who he represented as a player and also managed.

Fabio Paratici and Pavel Nedved were prepared to take Conte back but the club owners have never forgiven Conte for the way in which he departed the team in 2014.

The report from the Rome based news outlet goes on to state that whilst Conte would like a return and is trying to re-establish relations with his constant references to the Juventus model,  Juventus management have other ideas. Club management have decided that they will not go back to him and there is a veto on his name.

The report goes on to conclude that Juventus are happy about the prospect of Conte leaving his post as Inter manager as they are aware just how dangerous an opponnent Inter are to them if he is in charge.
