Inter and Manchester United are getting closer to agreeing a deal for Alexis Sanchez according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.

Sanchez has spent the season on loan at Inter, who look set to finalise a permanent deal for him just shortly. Manchester United have dropped their initial €20 milllion demands down to €18 million whilst Inter offered €12 million plus add-ons although the report claims that the two clubs should meet in the middle and agree a €15 million deal.

The final details need to be ironed out and it could well be the case that Inter announce the signing of Sanchez as soon as after Wednesday’s Europa League match with Getafe.

The report goes on to explain that Sanchez will sign a three year deal with Inter with an annual salary of €7 million. The report also states that Alexis Sanchez’s representatives are greatly optimistic that a deal will be agreed soon between the clubs.

His agent Fernando Felicevich has been working on satisfying his client’s demands for around about a month and a happy ending appears to be just around the corner.
