Cagliari dream of being able to keep a hold of Radja Nainggolan according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The former Belgian national team player has spent the past season out on loan at the Rossoblu club and him staying with the Sardinian club depends on Inter.

Should Inter choose not to reintegrate him into the project, they will look to sell him on and make money. Cagliari will make an effort to sign him but will not go overboard due to his age therefore Nainggolan’s will could be decisive in him joining them permanently.

Nainggolan currently earns €4 million a year and the report from the Rome based news outlet goes on to explain that Inter will not let him leave the club on loan again.

The former Roma player, who has a contract with Inter until 2022, made 29 appearances across all competitions for Cagliari this season, in which he scored six goals and provided seven assists for his teammates.
