Inter central defender Alessandro Bastoni was the Nerazzurri’s best performing player in last night’s 2-0 win over Getafe in the last 16 of the Europa League according to the player ratings published in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
The Italian youth national team defender provided the assist for Inter’s first goal and helped Inter to keep a fifth consecutive clean sheet across all competitions and has been rewarded with a 7.5/10 rating for his efforts.
Romelu Lukaku, who scored Inter’s first goal, with a well taken finish, was Inter’s next best performer with him being handed a rating of 7/10.
Club captain and number one goalkeeper Samir Handanovic, Stefan de Vrij, Nicolo Barella and Christian Eriksen were all meanwhile given ratings of 6.5/10 for their performances at the Arena Auf’Schalke.
Danilo D’Ambrosio, Marcelo Brozovic, Cristiano Biraghi, Lautaro Martinez and Alexis Sanchez all got 6/10 whilst Diego Godin, Roberto Gagliardini and Ashley Young were Inter’s worst performers with all of them getting 5.5.
