Inter have cooled their interest in signing Torino centre back Armando Izzo according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.
The Nerazzurri have been linked with Izzo, who is looking to leave Torino, for a considerable amount of time but at the moment, their priorities lie elsewhere, namely the Europa League, where they are just two wins away from winning the competition.
Inter have not completely abandoned the idea of possibly signing Italian national team player Izzo but the report from the Turin based news outlet goes on to explain that Inter are looking around at other options with Manchester United’s Chris Smalling understood to be a target of the Nerazzurri club.
Inter and Manchester United have good relations with one another due to several deals being done between them in the past year or so including deals for Romelu Lukaku, Alexis Sanchez and Ashley Young.
