Inter owner Zhang Jindong has been greatly irritated by Inter manager Antonio Conte’s recent outburst according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Many of Inter’s management were indirectly targetted by Conte during his outburst following the win over Atalanta in the 2019/20 Serie A season finale and the fear is that any peace agreement would just be a placebo until another outburst happened, possibly after the transfer window if Conte did not get all the players he wants.

The report goes on to explain that Conte would like more powers and autonomy at the club, something they are unwilling to grant him.

The possibility of Conte and Inter going their separate ways remains and the report goes on to conclude that the meeting Conte will have with Inter president Steven Zhang will make it clear as to whether it will be possible to sort out the differences.

Zhang should arrive in Europe just shortly having received the necessary authorisation to return from China. He should be back in Europe later on this week and will join the team in Dusseldorf over the weekend ahead of the Europa League semi final with Shakhtar Donetsk.
