There is no price that Fiorentina will allow Gaetano Castrovilli to leave the club for according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper La Repubblica.
The Italian national team midfielder has been heavily linked with a number of clubs ahead of the upcoming transfer window following his first team breakthrough season with La Viola with Inter, Juventus and Roma all having been linked, amongst a whole host of other clubs.
Fiorentina are adamant that Castrovilli is going absolutely nowhere and the report from the Rome based news outlet goes on to explain that the player wil sign a contract with the club until the end of the 2024/25 season and be handed the club’s number 10 jersey, famously worn by the likes of La Viola icon Rui Costa.
This season Castrovilli made 35 appearances across all competitions to date in which he scored three goals and provided two assists for his teammates.
