Torino have sparked an interest in signing Inter central midfielder Matias Vecino according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.
Inter have made it clear that they have no interest in doing a loan with option to buy deal for the Uruguayan midfielder as they want him sold outright or loaned with an obligation to buy.
Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta values Vecino between €25-30 million which is the same amount that Torino asked Inter for when they asked about Armando Izzo.
The report goes on to explain that Izzo could be inserted into negotiations for Vecino and in the coming hours negotiations could take off provided Torino president Urbano Cairo does not want to cash in on Izzo, who also has interest in his services from Roma and Napoli.
This season Izzo made 37 appearances across all competitions in which he scored a total of three goals.
