Lazio have raised their offer for Hellas Verona defender Marash Kumbulla according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
Lazio have already offered €20 million plus Andre Anderson but have now submitted a fresh offer including Cristiano Lombardi too.
The Italian capital city club remain in competition with Inter for Italian born Albanian national team defender Kumbulla.
Inter are willing to offer €30 million plus Eddie Salcedo and a Primavera player and the report from the Turin based news outlet goes on to explain that Juventus are also interested although they have not been so open about their interest in Kumbulla.
During the 2019/20 season, 20-year-old Kumbulla made his first team breakthrough as he made 26 appearances across all competitions.
In his time on the field, which totalled just under 2100 minutes, Kumbulla scored a single goal and helped Hellas Verona keep seven clean sheets during the season.
