Inter are not the only club interested in signing Napoli midfielder Allan this summer, with Spanish side Atletico Madrid preparing a €40 million offer for the 29-year-old Brazilian, according to a report from Spanish media outlet Marca earlier today.
The report details how Allan is likely to leave Napoli this summer, as president Aurelio De Laurentiis looks to overhaul the squad and remove the aging stars.
Inter are interested in the 29-year-old as coach Antonio Conte is looking for a strong midfielder to sign alongside Brescia starlet Sandro Tonali, but now may face heavy competition from Spain.
Atletico are preparing a €40 million offer for Allan, the report continues, in order to beat out the competition. Paris Saint-Germain and Everton are also keen on the player, with Carlo Ancelotti’s English side having a slight advantage due to his relationship with Napoli. Allan is contracted to the Partenopei until 2023 and made 33 appearances for the club this season.
