Cagliari Confident About Keeping Inter Owned Radja Nainggolan Who Also Wants To Stay

Cagliari are confident about being able to keep a hold of Radja Nainggolan according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Newly appointed Cagliari manager Eusebio Di Francesco wants Nainggolan kept due to being well aware what the Belgian is capable of due to working with him previously at Roma and he knows that Nainggolan can still make a difference.

It remains to be seen what Inter’s intentions for Nainggolan are though. Inter will need to decide Nainggolan’s future and at the moment anything remains possible.

The report from the Rome based news outlet goes on to add that Nainggolan also wants to stay with the Sardinia based club, who he spent the 2019/20 season on loan at. An agreement over personal terms between Nainggolan and Cagliari seems to be there and it now remains to be seen what Inter decide.

During the 2019/20 season, the 32-year-old made 29 appearances across all competitions, in which he scored six goals and provided seven assists for his teammates.
