Italian Media Highlight Some Stats On Inter’s Nearly 12-Month Long 2019/20 Season

Inter’s 2019/20 season will come to an end tomorrow, almost an entire year after it began a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport highlights.

Come tomorrow, when Inter will face off against Sevilla in the Europa League final, it will have been 361 days since Inter’s 2019/20 campaign began.

Tomorrow’s match will be the Nerazzurri’s 54th across all competitions meaning Inter will have played some 81 hours of football, provided the match does not go to extra time. Nobody in Italy has played more than the Nerazzurri have this term.

Since the season resumed post-lockdown, Inter have played 18 games, which is more than any other club in Europe too.

Romelu Lukaku has already played for 4099 minutes this season, the equivalent of more than 45 full games and tomorrow he will overtake Leonarod Bonucci and Giovanni Di Lorenzo as most used player in Italy during the 2019/20 season.

The report also goes on to highlight that Inter central midfielder Marcelo Brozovic has ran around 400km in total this season.
