Inter are not in for Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia journalist and transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio.
For weeks now Inter have been linked with a potential move for Messi due to the fact he has just under a year left to run on his contract with Barcelona and is seemingly considering moving on for a new challenge elsewhere.
Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City have both also been linked to the Argentine national team player who has spent the entirety of his career with Barcelona so far.
“Inter on Messi? There is nothing to it that I have heard of,” Di Marzio remarked during his show ‘Calciomercato l’Originale’ on Sky Sport Italia late last night.
33-year-old Messi is widely regarded as one of the greatest footballers to have ever played and he has made no less than 731 appearances across all competitions to date for Barcelona. Messi has scored a simply sensational 634 goals and has also provided 285 assists.
