Manchester City appear to be the most accredited club to sign Barcelona’s Lionel Messi according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere della Sera.

Messi has told Barcelona that he wishes to leave the club via fax and by moving to Manchester City the Argentine could be reunited with former Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola but the Citizens are not the only potential landing spot for 33-year-old Messi.

Paris Saint-Germain are a potential landing spot with the Ligue 1 giants looking to make big transfers and Inter are also a potential landing spot. Messi and his father have in fact recently brought property in Milan and this has only sparked enthusiasm that Messi could end up at Inter.

The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to explain that a move to Juventus cannot be ruled out either. Juventus and Messi share the same sponsor in Adidas.

At the moment, a move is out of reach for Juventus but there is a possibility he could move for free and given Juventus managed to sign Cristiano Ronaldo, them signing Messi cannot be excluded.
