Inter will try and bring Emerson Palmieri to the club on a loan with option to buy basis according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Inter’s desire to add a new left wing-back to their ranks is far from a secret just like their interest in signing the Brazilian born Italian national team player.

The Nerazzurri club have been linked with making a move for Emerson for some time now and rather than sign him on an outright basis to begin with, the club could bring him in on a loan with option to buy basis.

Reports elsewhere in the media as of late have stated that Chelsea want €30 million for Emerson, who they are open to letting go due to the arrival of Ben Chilwell from Leicester City.

In the recently concluded 2019/20 season, Emerson made 21 appearances across all competitions, in which he contriuted a single assist.
