Inter hope to be able to further reduce Brescia president Massimo Cellino’s demands for Sandro Tonali according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInter1908.it.

Inter have long had an agreement in place with the Italian national team player over personal terms but have yet to find an agreement with Cellino, who is asking for a total of €35 million, which will be spread across a loan with obligation to buy deal.

Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, Cellino’s initial demands for Tonali have already dropped and Inter hope to be able to get Tonali for less because as things stand Tonali would not be a starter in the midfield, the report continues. Any money saved would then be put toward the signing of a player who is ready.

The report goes on to state that AC Milan should not be underestimated either. AC Milan have shown an interest and are prepared to take advantage of Inter’s hesitation.

Whilst they are unlikely to contact Brescia in the coming hours, time is certainly running out for Inter and whilst remain in pole position and with a little more effort they would get the deal done, the report concludes.
