Napoli have sparked an interest in signing Inter wing-back Antonio Candreva according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia journalist and transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio.
The Partenopei club have in fact already made contact with the former Lazio player’s agent Federico Pastorello to discuss a possible move and did so today.
Candreva was transformed under the stewardship of Inter manager Antonio Conte having found himself on the fringes near the end of Luciano Spalletti’s tenure in charge and he became a regular during the season although he lost his place in the team to Danilo D’Ambrosio near the end of the season.
The 33-year-old has just under one year left to run on his current contract with Inter, who he joined back in the Summer of 2016.
This past season Candreva made 40 appearances across all competitions. In his time on the park, he scored seven goals and provided nine assists for his teammates.
