Juventus have reached an agreement with Roma regarding the transfer of Inter linked forward Edin Dzeko, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Corriere della Sera.

The report details how the 34-year-old Bosnian forward was specifically requested by Inter coach Antonio Conte last year, but signed a three-year contract extension with the Giallorossi. Only a year later, Dzeko is now only a step away from joining the Bianconeri on a two-year deal worth €7.5 million net per season.

Inter are still working to sign Dzeko regardless and won’t give up until the deal is officially finalised, the report continues, as the club look to sign experienced veterans to help them win immediately. Dzeko made 43 appearances across all competitions last season for the Roman side, for a total of 3539 minutes. In that time, he scored 19 goals and provided 14 assists, being one of the most important players in the squad.
