Cagliari could include goalkeeper Alessio Cragno in their bid to sign Radja Nainggolan from Inter according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Quotidiano Sportivo.
Nainggolan spent the 2019/20 season on loan at Cagliari and as of midnight last night he officially became an Inter player again.
Cagliari have not hidden their desire to keep the former Belgian national team player at the club but Inter are unwilling to let Nainggolan go to them free of charge.
The report goes on to explain that Cagliari could therefore offer Cragno to Inter as part of a deal for Nainggolan. If the clubs come to an agreement, Cragno would spend the upcoming season on loan at Cagliari before returning to Inter for the following season.
During the recent 2019/20 season, 26-year-old Italian national team player Cragno was limited to just 16 appearances due to a shoulder injury. He managed to keep a total of three clean sheets.
