Inter want at least €90 million to part ways with striker Lautaro Martinez according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian dialy newspaper Il Giornale.

Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta has set the asking price well aware that in the post-COVID football landscape that it is tough for all clubs to pay such an amount.

Barcelona are thinking about moving for the highly rated 23-year-old and although Inter are not actively looking to sell the Argentine national team player, Inter would let him go if they receieved an offer of the above amount.

Whilst it is not €111 million, the value of his release clause which is only valid for a short time every Summer, €90 million would go a long way.

The report goes on to explain that with €90 million, Inter could sign Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante, Roma captain Edin Dzeko and still have money left over in order to sign Kante’s Chelsea teammate Emerson Palmieri.
